Question 1

Your age

Educational tool — not a diagnosis. Screener informed by ASRM (American Society for Reproductive Medicine) and ESHRE evaluation recommendations for the infertile female. Diagnostic workup requires ovarian reserve testing (AMH, AFC), tubal patency, and partner semen analysis.

Frequently asked

Plain-language answers about fertility, this screener, and what evaluation costs at a Class A hospital in China.

When should I get an AMH / ovarian reserve test?
AMH (anti-Müllerian hormone) + antral follicle count (AFC) is appropriate when planning future fertility (egg freezing decisions), evaluating infertility after 6–12 months of trying (depending on age), or before a major life decision affected by fertility timing.
What does IVF cost in China for international patients?
Standard IVF + ICSI cycle at a Class A reproductive medicine centre (PKU Third, Renji): typically $5,500–9,500 all-in including stimulation medications. Adding PGT-A (preimplantation genetic testing) is $1,400–2,200 per cycle.
Are there age limits for IVF in China?
Most academic centres serve patients up to 45 (rarely up to 50 with strict cardiology and obstetric clearance). Egg or embryo donation is heavily restricted for international patients — if needed, neighbouring jurisdictions may be more appropriate.
