These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of PandaTouring Care’s website, coordination services, and medical companion platform (collectively, the “Services”). By creating an account, booking a consultation, applying to join the companion team, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
PandaTouring Care (“PandaTouring Care”, “we”, “us”) is a medical travel coordinator that connects international patients with hospitals, physicians, and vetted medical companions in China. We are not a healthcare provider. We do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account or book a consultation. By using the Services you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the authority to act on behalf of any person you book on behalf of.
3. Coordination services, not medical advice
Information published on this site — including treatment descriptions, hospital profiles, physician bios, and editorial content — is provided for general information only and does not constitute medical advice. All clinical decisions are made by the licensed treating physician at the partner hospital. You are responsible for evaluating any care plan with your own clinicians before traveling.
4. Bookings, deposits and refunds
Free 30-minute consultations are scheduled subject to physician availability. Optional priority deposits are processed via Stripe and are fully refundable up to 72 hours before the scheduled appointment. Cancellations within 72 hours forfeit the deposit unless the cancellation is initiated by PandaTouring Care or the partner hospital.
5. Hospital and physician services
Treatment fees, surgical fees, hospital admission fees, medication, and any in-country services are billed by the partner hospital directly. PandaTouring Care is not a party to the contract for clinical care between you and the hospital. We will assist with translated estimates and invoices but cannot guarantee outcomes, prices, or availability.
6. Medical companions
Companions are independent professionals contracted through PandaTouring Care. They are credentialed, insured, and supervised by our operations team but are not employees. Companions assist with translation, logistics, and care coordination. They do not provide medical care, prescribe medication, or substitute for a licensed clinician.
If you apply to join the companion team, your application is reviewed against our credentialing standards (license verification, background check, language assessment). Acceptance is at our sole discretion.
7. User accounts
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@pandatouring.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Services. This includes, without limitation, attempting to access another user’s account, uploading false credentials, scraping content, transmitting malicious code, or using the Services to violate applicable law.
9. Intellectual property
All content on this site — text, photography, illustrations, logos, the PandaTouring Care brand — is owned by PandaTouring Care or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. You may not reproduce or republish material without written permission.
10. Disclaimers
The Services are provided on an “as is” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PandaTouring Care’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will not exceed the fees you paid to PandaTouring Care in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or through a prominent notice on the site. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
