What's a well-controlled ACT score?
ACT ≥20 indicates well-controlled asthma. 16–19 is partly controlled (treatment adjustment commonly needed). ≤15 is uncontrolled — re-evaluation, step-up therapy or specialist referral is appropriate.
What does an asthma workup cost in China?
Pulmonology consult + spirometry + FeNO at a Class A international department typically costs $80–160. Adding allergy panel, bronchodilator response test, or methacholine challenge ranges $40–120 per add-on.
